Adore Class 1 Thigh Hold Up Stockings

Sheer thigh hold-ups with a lace-effect grip top

The Adore Class 1 hold up stocking stays up at the thigh on its own, so there is no suspender belt to deal with. It gives EU Class 1 graduated compression (18-21mmHg), firmest at the ankle and easing up the leg, and is made for the management of lymphoedema and chronic oedema. The sheer knit and lacy top band keep it close to the look of an ordinary stocking.

Compression and the top band

  • EU Class 1, 18-21mmHg, moderate graduated compression
  • Thigh length, with a lacy grip top band that helps hold the stocking in place
  • Closed Toe, Standard length
  • Sizes Small, Medium, Large and X-Large
  • Latex-free
  • From Lohmann & Rauscher

Colours, washing and putting it on

Two colours: Black and Natural Tan. Machine wash at 40°C. The Adore knit has been independently wash-tested to hold its graduated compression for 100 washes. Ease the stocking up the leg a little at a time rather than pulling it straight on, and keep rings and long nails away from the fabric.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable. Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.

They suit me but, as with all things, won't necessarily suit everyone.
