Introduction and Definitions

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products by Credenhill Limited (trading as Daylong) through our website https://www.daylong.co.uk

⁠By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and other applicable UK law.

Definitions

Applicable Laws: all applicable laws, statutes, regulations and codes in force in England.

Business Day: a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England when banks in London are open for business.

Data Protection Legislation: the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.

Medical Devices: any product or device intended for human healthcare use.

Products: goods supplied by us to you and available for sale on our Website.

Conditions of Sale

These are the terms and conditions on which we supply our Products to you. Please read them carefully, as they set out important information regarding the supply and purchase of our Products.

Advice when purchasing Medical Devices

Consumers should seek advice from a healthcare professional before purchasing medical devices. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for use (IFU) prior to application to ensure you fully understand how to use the product and whether there are any applicable contraindications.

Age Restrictions

Persons under the age of 18 should use this website only with the supervision of an adult. Payment information must be provided by or with the permission of an adult.

Our Products

  • The images of the Products on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. Your Product may vary slightly from those images.
  • The packaging of the Product may vary from that shown in the images on our website.
  • From time to time, manufacturers may make technical updates to products.

Price and Payment

  • The Product price is inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) and shall be charged at the rate in force at the time of purchase.
  • We accept payments by Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal. Payment must be made at the time of placing your order.

Order Confirmation and Delivery

  • Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it.
  • We deliver to the UK and ROI and do not accept orders from or deliver to addresses outside of the UK or ROI.
  • Delivery costs will be advised during checkout. For more details, see our Delivery Information.
  • We aim to deliver your items within 7 Business Days and no later than 30 days. If delivery cannot be made within this period, you have the right to cancel for a full refund.

Product Complaints and Enquiries

We are sorry if your item is not as it should be and we will
do everything we can to make it right. Please contact our Customer Care team by
calling 0800 195 0160 or emailing sales@daylong.co.uk.

To help us sort things quickly, please include the following details in your enquiry:

  • Your full name
  • The email address you used when placing your order
  • Your web order number (it begins with “#000”)
  • The product name and SKU code of the faulty item

We may ask you to send the item back for inspection, or request some photos, so we can resolve the issue as smoothly as possible.

Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

You have the right to cancel within 14 days after the day on which you receive your goods. Contact us by phone or email. We will refund payments, including standard delivery charges, within 14 days of receiving returned goods. You must pay return postage unless goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

Your right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Sealed goods unsuitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons, once
    unsealed.
  • Used or worn medical products.
  • Personalised or made-to-order goods.

How to Return Items

  1. Obtain a Returns Number: Call our Customer Care team on 0800 195 0160.
  2. Prepare Your Parcel: Fill in the returns slip on your invoice. Ensure the returns number is clearly quoted on your parcel.
  3. Send Your Parcel to: Daylong Returns Department, Unit 5, Heritage House, Cossall Industrial Estate, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, DE7 5UD.
  4. Please keep your Certificate of Posting.

Refund Processing

  • Once we receive your return, we will process your refund within 5 working days.
  • We may reduce your refund if the goods have been opened, used, or handled in an unacceptable way.

VAT Relief

Our liability under this contract

We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill.

We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so.;

  • breach of your legal rights in relation to the Products (including the right to receive products which are as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose);
  • and for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

We only supply the Products for domestic and private use. We will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of business opportunity.

  • We use Feefo Holdings Limited to collect product reviews via email invitations sent only to verified purchasers of our products.
  • We do not allow reviews except from genuine customers; all reviews are subject to verification and moderation by our review partner.
  • Fake reviews, misleading statements, or reviews incentivised (e.g., rewarded) without disclosure are strictly prohibited and may be removed.
  • Our policies comply with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, which prohibits fake or misleading reviews. Any breach may result in account or order suspension.

Prohibited Activities

If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.

We reserve the right to update these Terms by posting changes on our website. Continued use of the website following changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
