Varisan® Fashion for Man Class 2 Below Knee

Men's below knee compression sock in RAL Class 2

A ribbed sock that looks like ordinary men's hosiery and works at firm compression. Varisan® Fashion for Man is a below knee sock giving RAL Class 2 graduated compression (23-32mmHg), firmest at the ankle and easing up the calf. It is designed for the management of swelling in the lower leg and tired, aching legs.

Compression and knit

  • RAL Class 2, 23-32mmHg, graduated from the ankle upwards
  • Fine ribbed finish that sits under trousers like a dress sock
  • Soft, breathable knit
  • Closed Toe, below knee length
  • Latex free

Sizes, lengths and colours

Five sizes, 1 to 5, in two lengths: Normal and Short. Short suits a shorter measurement from the floor to just below the knee, so check calf circumference and leg length against the size chart before ordering. Colours are Black or Navy. The sock is made by Cizeta Medicali, the Italian family firm behind Varisan®, trading since 1872. Firm compression goes on more easily first thing in the morning, before any swelling builds up. A second pair is worth having, so one can be worn while the other is washed.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.

Good quality, but if you have large fit going to be really uncomfortable to wear

Far too tight, probably got the wrong size

Tim Wynn

I have used these socks before, they are comfortable to wear and give good support.

Paul Longman

Really pleased with the quality of the stockings. They look smart and would be happy to wear them with shorts

Bob Folley

Soft and easy to put on and take off but still with a reasonably good level of compression. A good option for when I need to change stockings and put them back on.
