SupCare Maternity Support Tights are made to keep fitting as the bump grows. The leg gives 15-21mmHg graduated compression, firmest at the ankle and easing off higher up. Across the front, a stretch panel sits over the bump for added support. They are designed for the management of tired, aching legs and mild swelling during pregnancy.
The knit is 140 denier, thicker than a sheer and closer to opaque winter tights. Denier is a measure of yarn thickness, not compression strength. Fibre content is 75% Polyamide, 25% Elastane, and the tights come in Black or Nature. One practical point: put them on first thing in the morning, before your legs have had a chance to swell, and ease the fabric up the leg in stages rather than hauling it from the top. Keep nails and rings away from the knit while you do it.
It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.
