SIGVARIS® TRADITIONAL 503 Class 2 Combined Arm with Grip Top & Shoulder

Class 2 arm sleeve with a grip top and a shoulder strap

The 503 has two things holding it up rather than one: a grip top at the upper arm and a shoulder strap across the body. That matters on a firm sleeve, which tends to work its way down as the arm moves. It gives RAL Class 2 compression (23-32mmHg) in the heavyweight SIGVARIS® TRADITIONAL knit, and is made for the ongoing management of chronic oedema and lymphoedema of the arm.

Compression and hold

  • RAL Class 2, 23-32mmHg, firm compression
  • 70% polyamide, 30% elastodiene (natural rubber)
  • Double-covered natural rubber yarn, knitted for pressure stability through the day
  • Circular-knit construction, part of the long-standing TRADITIONAL range
  • Grip top at the upper arm, with a shoulder strap to help stop the sleeve sliding down
  • Unisex

Sizes, lengths and putting it on

Small, Medium and Large, each in Short or Long, in Beige. Arm sleeves are normally fitted after a clinician has measured the arm at several points, so check those figures against the size guide before ordering. Household rubber gloves make a Class 2 knit much easier to ease up the arm without snagging it. This sleeve contains natural rubber latex and is not suitable for anyone with a latex sensitivity.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.

Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
