SIGVARIS® Style SEMITRANSPARENT Class 2 Maternity Tights

Semi-transparent maternity tights in RAL Class 2 compression

A sheer-look tight doing a firm compression job. SIGVARIS® Style SEMITRANSPARENT Class 2 Maternity Tights give graduated compression of 23-32mmHg, firmest at the ankle and easing up the leg, with a stretch panel that expands over the bump. They are designed for daily wear through pregnancy and for the management of varicose veins and tired, heavy legs.

Compression and the bump panel

Class 2 here follows the RAL scale rather than the British Standard one, so the pressure band is 23-32mmHg.

  • RAL Class 2 compression, 23-32mmHg
  • Expandable front panel shaped to sit over the bump
  • Semi-transparent knit with a fine, sheer finish
  • Shaped to follow the line of the leg and thigh
  • Latex free

Sizes, colours and toe options

The tights come in sizes XX-Small, X-Small, Small, Medium, Large and X-Large, in Black, Caramel or Skin. Two lengths, Normal and Long, cover different heights, and the toe is made as Closed Toe or Open Toe. Open Toe leaves the toes free, which some women prefer in warm weather or with a seam-sensitive foot. Compression tights go on most easily first thing in the morning, before the legs have had time to swell. Household gloves help work the fabric up the leg without snagging it on nails or rings.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.
