JOBST® Maternity Opaque Class 1 Compression Tights

Maternity tights with a stretch panel that adapts as the bump grows

The JOBST® Maternity Opaque tights are built around a SoftFlex Zone panel, an elastic insert in the panty section that expands over the bump as pregnancy goes on. Below that, the leg is standard graduated compression: RAL Class 1, 18-21mmHg, firmest at the ankle and easing up the leg, designed for the management of tired, aching legs and mild swelling during pregnancy. The knit is opaque, so the tights wear like ordinary maternity hosiery.

Fit and everyday wear

The SoftFlex Zone is designed to expand with the bump, so the tights can stay in use as the weeks go on. The sole has a ventilation zone for air flow, and the yarns are made to move moisture away from the foot. Put the tights on first thing in the morning, before swelling builds up over the day. Household gloves make that easier and keep nails away from the knit.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.
