Altiven® Class 2 Combined Arm with Elbow

A one-piece arm and hand sleeve in firm compression

The Altiven® Class 2 Combined Arm with Elbow covers the hand and the arm as one garment, instead of a sleeve worn with a separate hand piece. It gives EU Class 2 graduated compression at 23-32mmHg, the firm level, firmest at the wrist and easing towards the top of the arm. Urgo® Medical designs the Altiven® range for the management of lymphoedema, venous oedema and vascular conditions, and makes it in the UK.

Compression and the elbow section

  • EU Class 2 graduated compression, 23-32mmHg
  • Hand and arm compression in a single garment
  • Shaped at the elbow so the joint can still bend
  • Knitted in the UK by Urgo® Medical
  • Part of the Altiven® range of hosiery and arm sleeves

Colour and size options

The sleeve comes in five sizes, I/XS, II/S, III/M, IV/L and V/XL, in Black or Soft Beige. Sizing works from measurements taken at set points on the arm and hand, so have it measured rather than judged by eye. Most people find the sleeve easiest to put on first thing in the morning, before swelling builds through the day.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.

Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
