The Adore stocking gives firm graduated compression in a fine, sheer knit. It is European Class 2, 23-32mmHg, firmest at the ankle and easing up the calf, made by Lohmann & Rauscher for the management of lymphoedema. Closed Toe, latex-free, and offered in Petite and Standard leg lengths.

Compression and construction

  • European Class 2, 23-32mmHg graduated compression
  • Firmest at the ankle, easing up the leg
  • Closed Toe, below knee length
  • Latex-free knit, with no natural rubber
  • Hand finished by Lohmann & Rauscher
  • Independently wash-tested to hold its graduated compression for 100 washes

Sizes, colours and care

Four sizes, Small to X-Large, in two leg lengths and two colours: Black and Natural Tan. The knit is Unisex. Put the stocking on first thing in the morning, before the leg has had a chance to swell, and take your time over the heel; rubber gloves give you more grip at this compression class. Machine wash at 40°C and do not tumble dry.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.

Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
