Veinalgic® Thigh Compression Kit

Adjustable thigh compression with a reusable cold pack

The Veinalgic® Thigh Compression Kit fastens around the leg instead of pulling on like a stocking. It gives extra firm compression of 30-40mmHg over the thigh, with a cold pack that sits inside the sleeve for a cooling effect. Made in Italy by Cizeta Medicali, it is designed for the management of varicose veins and swelling, including after vein treatment such as sclerotherapy.

What comes in the kit

Three parts. The thigh sleeve does the compression work, the groin wrap carries it over the groin and pelvic area, and the reusable cold pack sits inside the sleeve against the treated area. Chill the pack in advance so it is ready when you want it, then use it again.

Compression, sizing and fit

  • Extra Firm compression, 30-40mmHg
  • Tighten or loosen the fastenings to set how firm the sleeve feels
  • Elastic and non-elastic zones hold it in place, with no tubular pull-on fit
  • Less pressure on the areas around the sleeve, so it avoids a restrictive feel
  • Latex free
  • Sizes 1, 2 and 3 in Black, Unisex

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable. Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
