Veinalgic® Calf Compression Kit

Extra firm localised compression with a cold gel pack

The Veinalgic® Calf Compression Kit is an adjustable sleeve rather than a pull-on stocking. It wraps around the calf and fastens to the tension you need, giving extra firm compression of 30-40mmHg over a dual-density foam pad that sits above the treated vein. A reusable gel pack slides into the same pocket for a cooling effect.

The sleeve, the pad and the gel pack

  • Extra firm compression, 30-40mmHg, adjustable by how tightly you fasten the sleeve
  • Non-tubular design with elastic and non-elastic zones to hold it in place
  • Dual-density polyurethane foam insert sits in a built-in pocket to focus pressure where it is needed
  • Reusable gel pack for cold therapy; the cool effect offers an antalgic action
  • Less pressure on the surrounding areas, so the sleeve avoids a restrictive effect
  • Sizes 1, 2 and 3 in Black; latex free

Fit and wear

How much compression the sleeve delivers depends on how firmly you fasten it, so set it to the tension your clinician has advised rather than pulling it as tight as it will go. Veinalgic® is a post-procedure sleeve worn under clinical direction, not everyday graduated compression hosiery. From the Italian manufacturer Cizeta Medicali.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable. Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
