The Varisan® Top Class 2 Tights run from toe to waist, so one garment covers both legs with nothing to hold up at the thigh. Compression is RAL Class 2, 23-32mmHg at the ankle, easing off steadily as it goes up the leg, and the tights are designed for the management of varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency. Cizeta Medicali knits them in Italy and certifies the compression to RAL-GZ 387.
The tights come in sizes 1 to 5, in Normal and Short lengths, and one colour, Beige. Size on your leg measurements rather than your usual clothing size, and take them first thing in the morning before any swelling builds up. Class 2 fabric takes some effort to get on, so work it up the leg in stages rather than hauling on the waistband. A pair of household rubber gloves helps you grip the fabric and spread it evenly. Hand wash in a mild detergent and leave to air dry.
It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.
