SIGVARIS® ULCER X Liners 4-Pack

Four replacement liners for the SIGVARIS® ULCER X two-part system

The liner is the inner half of the SIGVARIS® ULCER X system: a soft 15-20mmHg stocking worn next to the skin, over any dressing, with the firmer cover stocking pulled on top. This pack holds four of them, so there is a clean liner ready while the others are washed. It is designed for use in the management of venous leg ulcers, alongside the advice of the nurse or clinician who set the system up.

How the liner is worn

The liner goes on first, smooth against the leg, then the cover stocking slides over it. The outer face of the liner is smooth, so the cover stocking glides on rather than dragging over the skin. Trim your nails and take off rings before you start, as the knit is fine and snags easily. Whether the liner stays on overnight once the cover stocking comes off is a question for your nurse.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.

Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
