SIGVARIS® ULCER X Kit 503 Stocking with 2x Liners

A two-part ulcer compression system with two liners in the kit

The SIGVARIS® ULCER X Kit 503 Stocking with 2x Liners is a two-layer compression system for the management of venous leg ulcers. A soft liner goes on first, over the wound dressing, and the firm Open Toe stocking goes over the top. The kit holds one stocking and two liners, so one liner can be worn while the other is washed.

What comes in the kit

  • One ULCER X Kit 503 cover stocking, firm compression, below knee
  • Two ULCER X liners, worn next to the skin under the stocking
  • Open Toe at the foot
  • Latex free
  • Beige, in sizes Small, Medium, Large and X-Large, in Short and Long lengths

Putting it on and wearing it

Put the liner on first, directly over the dressing, then draw the stocking over the top. The liner has a smooth outer face, designed to help the stocking glide on rather than drag. The stocking is usually worn by day and taken off at night, while the liner can stay on to hold the dressing in place. Follow the wear routine your nurse or prescriber gives you.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable. Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
