SIGVARIS® TRADITIONAL 503 Class 2 Thigh with Knobbed Grip Top

Firm thigh compression in a natural rubber knit

The SIGVARIS® TRADITIONAL 503 Class 2 Thigh with Knobbed Grip Top is a thigh hold up stocking in RAL Class 2 compression (23-32mmHg), firmest at the ankle and easing up the leg. A knobbed grip top holds it at the top of the thigh, so no suspender belt is needed. It is designed for the management of varicose veins and chronic oedema, and for people who wear compression long term.

Knit and fabric

TRADITIONAL is the heavyweight range from SIGVARIS®, knitted from double-covered natural rubber yarn and offered by the manufacturer as an alternative to flat knit.

• 70% polyamide, 30% elastodiene (natural rubber)
• Circular-knit, large-mesh structure, designed to stay breathable
• High recovery force from the rubber yarn, designed to hold its pressure through the day
• Open Toe, which leaves the toes free and makes daily foot checks easier
• Knobbed grip top, not a silicone band

Sizes, fit and putting it on

Unisex, in sizes Small, Medium and Large, Short and Long lengths, and width options 274 and 276. The colour is Beige. Measure each leg on its own, first thing in the morning before swelling builds, then read those numbers against the size chart. Roll the stocking down before you put it on rather than dragging it up the leg, and take rings and watches off first so the knit does not snag. Contains natural rubber latex.
