SIGVARIS® TRADITIONAL 503 Class 2 Thigh

A heavyweight thigh stocking knitted with natural rubber yarn

SIGVARIS® TRADITIONAL is the firm, hard-wearing end of the SIGVARIS® range, and the 503 is its Class 2 thigh stocking. It gives RAL Class 2 graduated compression (23-32mmHg), firmest at the ankle and easing up the leg, and is designed for the management of chronic venous insufficiency and oedema that reaches above the knee. The double-covered natural rubber yarn is what holds the pressure steady through a full day of wear.

Compression and knit

  • RAL Class 2, 23-32mmHg graduated compression, rated Firm
  • 70% polyamide, 30% elastodiene, the elastodiene being natural rubber
  • Circular-knit thigh length, offered by SIGVARIS® as an alternative to flat knit stockings
  • Open Toe, leaving the toes free and easy to check
  • Contains natural rubber latex. Not suitable for anyone with a latex sensitivity

Sizes, lengths and colour

Unisex sizing runs X-Small, Small, Medium, Large and X-Large, in Short and Long lengths, in Beige. Measure both legs before ordering, as they often differ. The top band sits high on the thigh, in the crease under the buttock, and is not meant to be rolled or folded down.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.
