SIGVARIS® Style TRANSPARENT Class 2 Below Knee Compression Stockings

Sheer below knee stockings at AFNOR Class 2 compression

A compression stocking fine enough to pass for ordinary sheer hosiery. SIGVARIS® Style TRANSPARENT is a below knee stocking giving graduated AFNOR Class 2 compression, 15-20mmHg at the ankle and easing up the calf, designed for the management of varicose veins, mild oedema and tired, aching legs. It comes in five beige shades and Black.

Compression and knit

  • May help ease swelling and tired legs through a long day sitting or standing
  • AFNOR Class 2, 15-20mmHg, firmest at the ankle
  • Sheer transparent knit that sits discreetly under work clothes
  • 61% polyamide, 38% elastane, 1% polyester
  • Latex free

AFNOR is the French compression standard. Its class numbers do not match the British Standard classes, so go by the mmHg figure rather than the class number alone.

Sizes, lengths and toe styles

Sizes run X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large, in Normal and Long lengths, with Closed Toe or Open Toe. Colours are Beige One, Beige Two, Beige Three, Beige Four, Beige Five and Black. A fine knit like this snags easily, so take off rings and check your fingernails before you draw the stocking up the leg.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.
