SIGVARIS® Essential THERMOREGULATING Class 3 Thigh with Waist Attachment

Class 3 thigh stocking held up by a waist attachment

The waist attachment does the job a grip top usually does, so nothing has to hold on to the thigh itself. SIGVARIS® Essential THERMOREGULATING is a RAL Class 3 (34-46mmHg) thigh-length compression stocking with cotton against the skin, designed for the management of chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, oedema and lymphoedema. The compression is graduated and firmest at the ankle, at the extra firm level.

Cotton next to the skin

The cotton layer sits against the leg and takes up moisture from the skin, which is why this knit is offered for sensitive legs. The remaining fibres are water repellent and designed to let that moisture evaporate quickly, so the stocking is intended to feel cooler in warm weather and to hold a layer of warm air in the cold.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable. Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.

My 0rder took almost 2 weeks before it was shipped. And now after a couple of weeks of wearing, it has now laddered! I thought I was purchasing a quality item which I was not expecting to ladder after just a few days of wearing it. I will not be recommending or purchasing again. Very disappointed.
