Sheer below knee stocking with AFNOR Class 2 compression

The SIGVARIS® Essential SEMITRANSPARENT below knee stocking has the sheer finish of ordinary hosiery, with graduated medical compression knitted in. It gives AFNOR Class 2 compression (15-20mmHg), firmest at the ankle and easing up the calf, and is designed for the management of varicose veins and mild oedema. Essential is the everyday compression line from SIGVARIS®, a Swiss specialist founded in 1864.

Toe style, knit and colours

Choose Closed Toe or Open Toe. Open Toe leaves the toes free, which some people prefer with sensitive toes or wider footwear. The fabric is 72% polyamide and 28% elastane, with double-covered compression yarns designed to make the stocking easier to glide on and off, and SIGVARIS® describes the knit as breathable with moisture management. Six colours are offered: Black, Dune, Grey, Marine, Natural and Spice. Fine knits snag, so take off rings and check your nails before the stocking goes on.
