SIGVARIS® Essential COMFORTABLE Class 2 Tights

RAL Class 2 compression tights, waist to toe

SIGVARIS® Essential COMFORTABLE Class 2 Tights cover both legs and the body up to the waist, so nothing has to grip the thigh to hold them up. Compression is RAL Class 2 (23-32mmHg), firmest at the ankle and easing up the leg, designed for the management of varicose veins and tired, aching legs. The class comes from the European RAL system, which numbers its bands differently from the British Standard.

Knit, waistband and getting them on

The knit is opaque and soft against the skin. A wide waistband sits flat and is designed to stay put rather than roll down, and the tights are latex free. Worn by men and women alike. When you put them on, work the fabric up in stages, a few centimetres at a time, rather than dragging from the waistband.

Options when you order

Take your measurements first thing in the morning, before any swelling builds, then match them to the size guide.

  • May help ease swelling and tired legs during daily wear
  • RAL Class 2, 23-32mmHg, firm compression
  • Normal and Long leg lengths
  • Closed Toe or Open Toe
  • Sizes XXS, XS, SML, MED, LGE and XLG
  • Colours Black, Caramel and Savannah

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.

Very comfortable with a heavier fabric than other brands and quite warm in comparison. A generous toe-cap allows for the larger foot adequately. They are scented but not heavily and it'll fade with washing. After a wash, they've kept size and compression well.

This is the second time I bought this product, great quality, they last very long, offer good support. The only thing that I wasn't completely satisfied with is that despite buying tights for second time (reference number was slightly different, however the brand/type/size was same) it turned out that the fit is slightly tighter in the knee area and slightly looser in the hip area than the last pair I bought, so they're slightly less comfortable to wear for long hours. However I'm still happy with product and will buy them again.

The quality of the product is good, however, choosing the size is difficult if you have not purchased this type of product before. If you are slim it is necessary to purchase a size larger than the measurements as it would impossible to put the garment on. As a tall female I thought it would be best to purchase the 'unisex' tights but even these were not really long enough in the foot and the legs were not long enough (I am 5' 9"). The tights are very expensive and I was disappointed with the fit.

Don't fit as well as the magic even though sizing is the same. It seems you have to have no noticeable bottom for these to fit!

Customer

High quality product which keeps my varicose veins hidden and I can still wear skirts !!!!!
