ReadyWrap® Knee

Knee wrap with three adjustable straps

ReadyWrap® Knee is the knee section of the ReadyWrap® lower limb wrap system from Lohmann & Rauscher, made for the ongoing management of lymphoedema and chronic swelling. Three hook-and-loop straps set the tension across the joint. It overlaps the ReadyWrap® calf and thigh units, so cover carries on above and below the knee.

Setting and resetting the tension

The straps fasten at the front and adjust one at a time, so the wrap can be tightened or eased as limb girth changes through the day. You do not need to take the whole thing off to do it.

  • Three straps across the knee, each adjustable on its own
  • Hook-and-loop fastening at the front
  • Overlaps the calf and thigh units of the ReadyWrap® system
  • Unisex
  • Latex free

Material, colours and washing

The fabric is 61% nylon, 33% polyurethane and 6% elastane. Beige or Black, in sizes Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large. The wrap is washable and made to be worn again rather than used once. Keep the strap fastenings clear of fluff and hair so they hold their grip.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.

Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
