ReadyWrap® Arm

Adjustable arm wrap that fastens with one hand

ReadyWrap® Arm is an adjustable compression wrap for the upper limb from Lohmann & Rauscher, designed for the ongoing management of lymphoedema and chronic swelling. Low-stretch panels overlap down the arm and fasten with hook-and-loop straps, so tension is set by hand and can be changed again as the limb alters through the day. The double-sewn liner lets it be taken off and put back on with one hand.

How it fastens

  • Front-fastening straps, each one adjustable on its own
  • Low-stretch fabric: higher working pressure as you move, lower pressure at rest
  • Double-sewn liner for one-handed removal and reapplication
  • Bilateral shaping that follows the contours of a left or a right arm
  • Latex free

Sizes, colours and fabric

Sizes run Small, Medium, Large and X-Large, each in Short, Average or Tall length, so arm girth and arm length are chosen separately. Colours are Beige and Black. The fabric is 61% nylon, 33% polyurethane and 6% elastane, and the wrap is washable and reusable rather than single use. Keep the hook-and-loop straps clear of fluff and hair so they hold their grip.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable. Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
