What is the OA Ease used for?

It is an unloader brace for mild-to-moderate one-sided (unicompartmental) osteoarthritis of the knee, and other conditions that benefit from unloading the joint, such as degenerative meniscal tears. It reduces load on the affected side to help ease pain.

Which side and size do I need?

The brace is compartment-specific, so choose Left or Right and Medial (inner) or Lateral (outer) to match your affected side - the hinge sits on that side. For size, measure your thigh 15 cm above and your calf 15 cm below the middle of your kneecap and compare both with the size guide. Contact us if you're unsure.

How long each day should I wear it?

Build up wearing time gradually and wear it during the activities where you need support. Follow the advice of your clinician for your individual situation.

Can I exercise while wearing it?
