Mediven® Plus thigh stockings stay up on a topband at the top of the thigh, so there is no suspender belt to deal with. Compression is RAL Class 2 (23-32mmHg): firm, and graduated so it is strongest at the ankle and eases as it goes up the leg. They are designed for the management of varicose veins and oedema where swelling reaches above the knee.
Sizes run I/XS, II/S, III/M, IV/L, V/XL, VI/XXL and VII/XXXL, in Petite and Standard lengths, in Beige or Black. The toe style is Open Toe, which leaves the toes free. Measure ankle, calf and thigh, plus leg length, first thing in the morning before any swelling builds, and work from the medi size chart rather than your usual clothing size. Gather the stocking down to the heel before you start, then ease it up the leg in stages instead of pulling it on in one go. Wash at 40°C. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.
It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.
