Juxta-Fit Lower Legging

Adjustable lower leg wrap with a built-in pressure system

The Juxta-Fit Lower Legging wraps the lower leg in a row of overlapping hook-and-loop bands. Each band adjusts on its own. The Built-in Pressure System (BPS) lets the compression be set, checked and re-adjusted at any time, and the inelastic Breathe-O-Prene fabric gives a graduated profile with low resting pressure. A medi UK product, designed for the management of chronic oedema in the lower leg, normally as part of care agreed with a nurse or clinician.

Material and bands

  • Inelastic Breathe-O-Prene fabric, which holds its shape rather than springing back
  • Nylon, Polyethylene, Polyurethane, Silver and Spandex, with the silver content described as odour-inhibiting
  • Overlapping hook-and-loop bands that can be loosened or tightened without taking the legging off
  • Graduated profile with low resting pressure
  • Latex free
  • Machine washable at up to 40°C, tumble dry low; do not dry clean, iron or bleach

Choosing a size

Sizes Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large, in Petite and Standard lengths, in Beige. Size comes from leg measurements rather than shoe or dress size, so measurements are taken at set points on the limb. One practical point: keep the hook side of the bands clear of fluff and hair, because debris on the hooks makes the fit harder to set day to day.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.
