JOBST® FarrowWrap® Lite Hand with Foam

Hand wrap with foam inserts and adjustable bands

The JOBST® FarrowWrap® Lite Hand with Foam wraps the hand in overlapping short-stretch bands instead of pulling on like a glove. Foam inserts sit beneath the bands to cushion the skin and to help with oedema that collects over the back of the hand. It belongs to the JOBST® FarrowWrap® Lite range from Essity®, the thinner, lower-profile tier of the FarrowWrap system, and is designed for the ongoing management of hand swelling in upper-limb lymphoedema and chronic oedema.

How the wrap fastens and sits

  • Short-stretch fabric, giving lower pressure at rest and firmer pressure as the hand works
  • Overlapping hook-and-loop bands, each one adjusted separately as swelling changes through the day
  • Foam inserts help spread the pressure and keep the bands from pressing into the skin
  • Ambidextrous, so the same wrap fits the left or the right hand
  • Thinner than the firmer FarrowWrap tiers, so it sits lower under a sleeve
  • Latex free

Sizes and colour

Four sizes: X-Small, Small, Medium and Large, in Beige. Size comes from hand measurements, so have the hand measured before you order. Keep the hook-and-loop bands clear of fluff and hair, or they lose their grip over time.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.

Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
