JOBST® FarrowWrap® Classic Legpiece

Adjustable compression wrap for the lower leg

The JOBST® FarrowWrap® Classic Legpiece is a wrap, not a knitted stocking. Overlapping hook-and-loop bands close around the lower leg, each one pulled to the tension set at fitting. It is designed for the management of lymphoedema and chronic swelling of the lower limb, including legs with pronounced skin folds.

Bands and adjustment

The bands are short-stretch, so they give very little as the calf muscle works: low pressure at rest, higher pressure on movement.

  • Overlapping hook-and-loop bands, adjusted one at a time along the leg
  • Tension can be eased or increased as swelling changes through the day
  • Rigid band construction, intended for moderate to severe swelling
  • Worn over a separate liner next to the skin
  • Latex free, from the JOBST® range made by Essity®

Sizing, colour and washing

Sizes X-Small, Small, Medium, Large and X-Large, in Regular and Tall lengths. One colour, JOBST - Beige. Unisex. The size comes from leg measurements, so have the leg measured rather than guessing.

Hand wash only, in cool water with a mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener, no tumble drying, no ironing. Dry flat, away from direct heat. Keep the hook-and-loop fastenings free of fluff and hair so they hold their grip.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable.

Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
