JOBST® Farrow® Class 1 Compression Glove

Open-finger compression glove that fits either hand

A thin, smooth knit with fine seams, so the JOBST® Farrow® glove sits close without bulking out the hand. It gives US Class 1 compression, 15-20mmHg, and is designed for the management of swelling (oedema) in the hand. The fingers are left open, and the same glove can be worn on the left or the right hand.

Fabric and construction

  • Durable microfine fabric, ultra thin and smooth against the skin
  • Fine seams through the knit
  • Latex-free
  • Trimmable, so the fit can be adjusted
  • Open fingers leave the fingertips free

Sizes, colours and washing

Eight ready-to-wear sizes run from I/1 to VIII/8, in Black or Tan. Measure the hand first, then read the size chart. The fabric can be trimmed for a closer fit, and it pays to take a little at a time, because it will not grow back. Wash at or below 40°C with a mild detergent and let the glove dry naturally. Bleach and fabric softener damage compression fabric, so keep both away from it.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable. Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
