Compression, fabric and toe styles

Class 1 is the lightest of the British Standard compression classes.

• May help support the legs through long spells of sitting or standing
• Light graduated compression, 14-17mmHg, firmest at the ankle and easing up the leg
• Wide silicone top band grips the thigh to hold the stocking in place
• Nylon and lycra threads, breathable enough for daily wear
• Latex free
• Closed Toe or Open Toe, so the toes can be left free if that suits you better

Sizes, colours and washing

Sizes are Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large, in Black or Sand. Sizing is worked out from leg measurements rather than your usual clothes size, so measure first thing in the morning before any swelling builds up, and measure both legs. They are often not the same. The stockings are machine washable.
