Patterned socks that do a medical job. The Activa® Class 2 Unisex Patterned Socks give British Standard Class 2 graduated compression, 18-24mmHg, firmest at the ankle and easing as it goes up the calf. They are designed for the management of varicose veins, and the pattern keeps the look closer to an everyday black sock than to hosiery.

Getting the size and the timing right

Four sizes run from Small to X-Large. Sizing is based on your ankle measurement, so take it first thing in the morning before any swelling builds up, then check it against the size guide. The same goes for wearing them: put the socks on early, before your legs have had a chance to swell. Machine wash at up to 40°C. Do not tumble dry or iron them.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments.
