Activa® Class 2 Tights

Waist-height Class 2 compression in a sheer nylon knit

Tights rather than stockings, so the compression runs from the foot to the waist and there is no thigh band to keep in place. Activa® Class 2 Tights give UK Class 2 graduated compression, 18-24mmHg at the ankle, easing as it travels up the leg. They are designed for the management of varicose veins and for tired, aching legs.

The knit, and how to look after it

Ultra-fine nylon with Lycra Soft, which keeps the leg sheer and the weight low. One colour, Natural, in sizes Small, Medium, Large and X-Large. Machine wash at up to 40°C and leave to dry. No tumble drying and no ironing. Lohmann & Rauscher rate the Activa® knit for 100 washes. One practical point from fitters: gather the tights down to the foot first and work them up the leg in stages, rather than hauling on the waistband.
