ActiLymph® Class 3 Below Knee Stockings

Extra firm European Class 3 compression in an Open Toe below knee stocking

The ActiLymph® below knee stocking works at European Class 3, 34-46mmHg, the firmest of the three European compression classes. Lohmann & Rauscher make it for the management of lymphoedema and other long-term swelling in the lower leg. The toe is open, so the toes stay uncovered.

Compression and construction

  • European Class 3, 34-46mmHg, rated extra firm
  • Open Toe, Standard length, finishing below the knee
  • Knitted stiffer than everyday support hosiery, for limbs that swell
  • Latex free
  • Unisex sizing
  • From Lohmann & Rauscher, makers of the ActiLymph® range

Sizes, colour and washing

Four sizes, Small to X-Large, in Sand. Machine wash at up to 40°C. Class 3 is firm to handle, so most people find it easier to put the stocking on first thing in the morning, before the leg swells through the day. A donning aid or a pair of rubber gloves takes some of the work out of it.

It's important to get the right fit when it comes to compression garments. That's why Daylong Shop recommends that you contact a nurse, GP or pharmacist to ensure that compression hosiery is appropriate for you. If so, you will then need to be measured in order to obtain the correct size which will ensure that the garment works correctly and feels comfortable. Compression hosiery may not be suitable for everyone. If you have diabetes, circulation problems, reduced sensation, fragile skin, heart failure or a diagnosed vascular condition, speak to a healthcare professional before using compression.
