Sockaid™ Hosiery Application Aid

I maintain and rebuild my motorcycles and yet I am unable to fathom how this device is suppose to be used. So far it has beaten me and is a waste of money. A strength 3 stocking is really difficult to stretch over it and then it is much too tight to get my foot in it. TBH I have tried it all ways up and still can't see which way round it is to be used.

The aid is too large(wide) to get the stocking onto easily, and assist the foot to enter the correct area of the stocking.

Bought for a relative who found it very helpful.

VEry difficult initially to get compression stockings over the frame. Older wearers and/or those with arththritis of hands struggle. The frame moves and there is no place to put a foot on it to keep

I purchased this aid so I could put my stocking on my self and take the pressure off of my wife having to put them on for me. Sadly I found for some reason I just could not get the stockings on the aid which would allow me to put my foot in without the stocking sliding off the aid. I thing this aid is really meant for a care to put them on.

Makes it as easy as it can be to put them on quite quickly with not too much adjustment needed.

I was very disappointed. It's so large I cannot use it to assist with applying my compression sox, tights, or sleeves. My items will not stretch enough to fit on the hosiery application aid. The tights I have are expensive and I would damage them. I have tried but my ankle measurement is 21cmn . For me this item is absolutely useless and I will be returning it as soon as I can contact Daylong after the Bank holiday.

This is a very sturdy but light applicator and I will be recommending this to any of my patients who have difficulty donning their compression hosiery.
